The RZ 1000 distributed
control module performs all the functions of a stand alone
DDC system including alarm and trend dial out to a host
computer, printer or pager. It implements the complete
range of automation functions from measuring input values,
computing control responses and outputting results. The
unit can operate independently or as part of a larger
system and has several functions to share information
seamlessly with other controllers by communicating on
the built-in RS-485 Local Area Network. The auxiliary
communication port can be used to connect to a variety
of third party products. Graphical Application Programming
and User Interface are accomplished using perfectHOST
software running under either Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000
or NT.
