The RZ 100E controller
(shown with and without cover) is the centerpiece of the
RZ automation system and implements a complete range of
automation functions. Any combination of 2, RZ 100 Analog
and Digital Expansion boards can be connected to the RZ
100's I/O expansion port. The unit can share information
on a peer-to-peer basis with other controllers via the
built-in RS-485 Local Area Network. It also has an auxiliary
port which can be set up for RS-485 or RS-232 communication
to peripheral devices such as modems and printers. Graphical
Application Programming and User Interface are accomplished
using perfectHOST software running under either Windows
95, 98, ME, 2000 or NT.
