M2

Innovative Internet Protocol (IP)-centric Intelligent Building solution leveraging existing building assets and infrastructure, creating true Systems Integration.

The most advanced hardware and software package in the industry, the Richards-Zeta M2 combines the power and feature sets previously seen in RZ products such as the Mediator and moZaic. Richards-Zeta’s (RZ) perfectHOST software leverages all systems and sub-systems supported by and connected to the M2, including all LonWorks, BACnet, Modbus and the 40 plus additional drivers. This includes Johnson N1/N2, BC NW8000, Staefa Smart 1-2, Trane Tracer –UCM, CSI MR, and many others (Please refer to RZ’s current Protocol Driver List).

The M2 is a true Multi Protocol Exchange (MPX), enabling two-way simultaneous communication between numerous different protocols, wherein all connected system points are available in a native IT environment in the form of a URL and accessible over a TCP/IP - IP network, utilizing all the standards of IT. These standards include, but are not limited to, XML, HTTP, and HTML.

In addition, the M2 is able to receive input and control algorithms and logic through RZ’s perfectHost user application and convert it into commands and data that conform to the protocols required by the different facility’s sensors, devices and systems. The M2 can run many services and protocols at the same time and still have the capability to respond immediately to events generated in the network environment.

The M2 includes a specially focused Richards-Zeta Configuration Tool that is specifically designed for the configuration of the specific infrastructure and integration required. Once the configuration is saved on the M2, a standard internet browser is then used to access and manage the system
