Richards-Zeta Featured in Frost & Sullivan 2006 Report, Paving a Path for Building Migration to IT--USA.

In this report, Edmund Richards, Richards-Zeta (RZ) CEO, said, "RZ believes in supporting an open platform, IP solution BAS industry. This open protocol technology platform facilitates the flow of data from multiple disparate systems providing for simpler and more efficient operations."

Underlying the technology is the multiprotocol exchange (MPX) platform. MPX normalizes data into an IT-friendly format, allowing each protocol regardless of its original format to integrate with other IT applications. This essentially provides a capability for end-users that never existed before. It gives them easy data access through the Internet and simplified integration and interoperability between both new and existing building systems and applications.

Of particular significance is the Mediator/M2 Omega platform that has been developed by RZ. This IP platform is backed by the company’s outlook toward introducing a single communications technology that allows more efficient, easier, and cost-effective and simplified process for integration. Richards-Zeta's platform is built on Linux, which is completely an open system architecture, and Python, a completely open object-orientated software. By its very design, an open protocol system such as this can integrate into a client's existing infrastructure at all levels. Be it at the facility-level, network-level or enterprise-level, the platform is able to leverage all the assets in the building providing high value to clients without the need to replace their existing infrastructure.
